From 2021 to 2025 Lixenberg became part of the microenvironment that is De Wallen: its narrow alleyways, canals, daily rhythm. She observed life there closely, with an eye for detail and without judgment. The result is a series of intimate black and white portraits and monumental interior

The shoes are very pretty, but they are absolutely uncomfortable. I could barely wear them for an hour without my feet hurting. Unfortunately, they look much better than they feel. I really wanted to love them, but they are not comfortable enough to wear for any extended period of time.
